A Little Less Conversation, A Little More Brunch
Sunday Brunch at Rhinestone
We cracked open our doors on October 31, 2025, and so far it’s been a raucous, glittering, joy-filled blur. When owners Trevor Thorpe and Graham Chaney—each with years of bar and restaurant experience under their belts—teamed up to bring Rhinestone to life in Portland’s Clinton neighborhood, they envisioned a place where Vegas hedonism could live happily alongside outlaw-country soul.
Since then, we’ve been closing out nights with Boot Scoot shots, singing along to “Rockin’ Years” and “Heartbreak Hotel,” and leaning hard into the eccentric electricity that makes this neighborhood so special. So we figured it was time to do mornings our way, too.
Rhinestone is now serving brunch.
If you’ve been here before, you already know the deal. We’re shiny, loud, welcoming, and proudly unpretentious. This bar was built on the belief that Portland deserves serious talent without the serious attitude. Our team has worked the white-tablecloth spots, the kind with $30 shrimp cocktails, but we’d rather serve you a damn good brunch, at a place where you can wear sunglasses indoors and order a third Bloody Mary without judgment.
So, what’s on the menu?
Graham has spent hours locked in the kitchen (don't worry, he gets fed, too) crafting a menu that hits that sweet spot between nostalgic comfort food and "holy buckets–how is this so good?" While we plan to keep the menu rotating with creative new options, for now, you can expect to see:
Chilaquiles Verde
Bistek Milanesa Especial
Southwest Hash
Churro Waffle
Huevos con Wienies
Breakfast Burrito
Basic Breakfast
Biscuits & gravy
Avocado Toast
Southwest Bene’
Other ways we are bringing the “wow!” factor to our brunch are with Graham’s homemade sourdough bread, biscuits and English muffins. If we’re gonna do brunch, we’re showing up with our best!
Why brunch at Rhinestone?
Portand is full of brunch spots chasing trends, flashy plates, endless lines, and meals designed for algorithms instead of people. That’s not us. We’re focused on ingredients, quality, and creativity, and on creating experiences that actually feel good to be part of.
Rhinestone may be a young bar, but it’s run by two old souls. We’re proud of what we’ve built, proud to be part of this neighborhood, and excited to welcome you back in the daylight—whatever that looks like in a Portland winter.
Join us every Sunday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.
Come hungry. Leave full.
