Tonight We’re Throwing a Pickle Party (and It’s Also a Certain Owner’s Birthday)
We’ve been planning this one for a while, and tonight it’s finally here.
Rhinestone is hosting the Portland launch party for the Grillo’s Pickles x Pabst Blue Ribbon collab beer, a limited collab that tastes exactly as good as it sounds if you’re the kind of person who gets excited about pickle beer (and we very much are that kind of person).
It also happens to be our owner Trevor Thorpe’s birthday, which means the energy in this building tonight is going to be F-U-N. Cowboy Co-op is DJing, and the kitchen is leaning all the way in on the theme.
The Food
We’re not just putting a pickle on the side and calling it a night. The menu is: breaded fried pickle chips, pickle-brined fried frog legs, and the one everyone’s going to be talking about, pickles that we’ve hollowed out and cut down into shot glasses. Fill them with Dickel Rye. Shoot. Repeat.
